ridiculous amounts of coffee.

This weekend was extra special to me because I got to explore Nashville AND enjoy Easter. I love escaping to Nashville. I always start off my trips with Fido, their village scrambler is to die for...plus COFFEE. Nashville trips = ridiculous amounts of coffee!!! After Fido, I EXPLORE!! I make it a goal to find a new favorite place every time I visit. I explore for hours, then I finish my trips with Samurai Sushi and dessert at Cafe Coco. yummmmmm. Where I am from Nashville is close enough to make an day trip but far enough away to really hold meaning for when I get to go.

and she will be loved

I had the most wonderful time seeing Maroon 5 in Nashville. It was a ridiculously good show and I can not find one thing to complain about. I highly recommend seeing them live at least once. xoxo, night.

Speechless

meet my boyfriend.
I am crazyyyy about him!

The past few days have been so much fun (minus work and homework)! I have got to spend it with a lot of good friends and it really has been a blast. I am now ending my Saturday with blogs and the sound of rain. I am content. I am speechless at how amazingly perfect everything is right now. I am blessed. Oh by the way I had a perfect date tonight, can you say sushi?

baby..baby..baby..ohhhhh

I am so ready to be an aunt..AGAIN!! This will be my sister Jill's first baby! Thanks to my oldest sister Ashlie, I am already an aunt to two little goof balls and I do not know what my life was like before them. It is hard to wrap my mind around how in a second you can completely accept/love/cherish/etc. someone. The first time I looked at my little nice and nephew I knew I wanted them to have, do and be EXACTLY what they wanted. They did not even talk or communicate but I knew that I wanted them happy and I wanted them to have all the love in the world. Isn't that crazy? Immediate love.
Anyways.. I am ready and she looks like she is too! My sisters belly is about to burst! Soon I will be praying blessings on a new little human....and dying over how adorable the baby is!!
(oh and get this Ashlie is pregnate again too!!! Can you say baby maddness?)

In your light I could be almost anything.

I am a sucker for candles. I love the candles that smell like heaven in a jar and I love the candles whose only purpose is to flicker and glow. This is a few of the steps I took when making my always glowing candle. For me, this picture is very special because it is a nice reminder that light is never very far from the darkness.. in my brain that means that no matter how terrible and broken everything seems- hope is not out of reach. The best part about this candle: it literally took no time to paint. I am forever painting before bed and this was a quick doodle that I ended up keeping. xoxo- sleep sweet.

Goodbye, mess! Hello, green furniture?

If you are anything like me, there will NEVER be enough room in your closet. My clothes were literally in piles as tall as me!  My mom fussed at me for my "messiness"..but in all honesty when there is not any room for my clothes the floor is my best option. So after walking by this cabinet everyday for.. well my entire life, I finally took some notice. The poor thing had been painted, re-painted, and slowly lost any hope of beauty. Then one Sunday I just walked past it and was hit with inspiration. The project only took a few hours and really ended up as a nice piece in my room. I ended up with just enough room for my clothes after stuffing this cabinet full! :)

( I used a light green for the base and did a messy design on the front two doors with black. The inside is a nice red with yellow and black flowers roughly painted. I then, as always, scrubbed the entire cabinet with sand paper for a rustic look.On one door i added a few nails for long necklaces. On one side i added a picture frame and cross I had previous in my room and on the other side I put up places to hang more clothing.)
